finally right new cell T-5 but says inspect cell

We replaced our T-5 with T-5 and it worked great for a week but today it says inspect cell and that light is blinking. My husband is ready to go buy truckloads of dirt to just fill the pool in!! No! help!

Pull the cell out, check and remove any deposits, rinse it with a blast from a garden hose, put it back in. Then after its restarted, push the button on the control panel and hold for a few seconds to reset the system.

After a specific amount of run time the check cell light comes on as a reminder, it does not necessarily indicate a problem.
