5 year old pool, inground sand filter two horse pump valve handles broke off can not turn the valves even with a new handle. Took them apart cleaned them lubed them still to hard to move .. I have 10 of these valves any ideas

That is the disadvantage of using the cheaper ball valves instead of appropriate pool valves that are rebuildable (like the Jandy/Pentair ones ... Hayward makes them too). The ball valves eventually become hard to turn and I am not sure there is anything you can do to change that.
