Getting ready to add borates...

Heres where im at, pool is plaster, 18,500 gallons and just under one year old.
I have been on BBB since day one so Im pretty sure ive got this process down.

Tests as of today TF100 Kit, new chemicals;

temp 81
FC 4
CC 0
pH 7.8
TA 190 (high)
CH 300
CYA 35

Looks like I need to lower my TA, by pool calc I get adding 99 oz of MA and areation to get to 7.1 . Correct?
Any clue as to how long i need to hold this low pH?

It's a see-saw sort of thing...

you lower pH to 7.0 or 7.1

then aerate until pH rises to about 7.6

Repeat by lowering back down to 7.0 or 7.1

Then aerate until pH rises to 7.6

Each time you lower ph, the TA will lower too, but, when you aerate, only the pH goes back up.

I may need little airation then, this darn pool climbs in pH prety quick on its own.
Off to add MA and turn on the fountains.
