Base Plate For Stair Rail-Is Ther Such A Thing?

I was given a very nice handrail for my wide stairs going into my pool.
Will I need to drill 2 holes about 3" in diameter into the concrete to install this or does anyone make a baseplate that would allow mw to drill 4 small holes and install threaded anchors for a base plate instead?
