15,000 gallon pool/spa with heater

sta rite 1.5 hp pump, phk2ra6f-103L

sta rite sand filter, 350lbs sand, cristal-flo 2, 145363

Multi valve system because of the spa

starting pressure 20psi? is that about right/normal?

so I let it get upto 30psi before back washing? seems kinda high, but thats why i'm here asking cause you guys are the experts.

Every pool is different. We can't tell you what is normal for your pool.

Clean the filter when the pressure goes up 25% over the starting pressure, i.e. if the starting pressure is 20, then clean when it gets to 25.
