Broken pump to filter connector

Had an issue this morning and i thought i would share my solution.
I had a leaking connector between the pump and filter was leaking, while removing it the connector broke leaving the threaded piece inside the impeller housing.
I took an old connector that was a diameter that could fit inside the threaded piece and i put a screw threw the old connector so that about 1/8 inch was protruding through the other side, then i hammered that inside the threaded piece and it gripped enough for me to unscrew it.

Nice... I suppose you could add more screws to get more bite if needed.
