Hayward Aqua Bug owners - How do you store your hose?

Up to this point the pool has been open but not really used (FREEZING COLD IMO) so other than pulling the bug out I've kept the hose floating in the pool. Since I know the boys at my house very well I have to change my storage method or it will become a toy of some sort :?

Last year I kept pulling out the hose, breaking it into its sepeprate pieces and storing in a big bin. This made setting up the vacume a major pain.

So here I am - how do other folks store their "Do not coil" hose?

I still break mine apart and store all the pieces straight in one of those under the bed plastic storage bins. Pain in the butt to do but I dont see any way or place I can keep it together without coiling it.

I have an area next to the base of our deck where we have small stones. I break the hose down into 3 long strips and lay them out straight on the stones. Works well - in the past, I was not careful and sure enough, the hose became coiled and we ended up having to buy a new one this spring, so I am trying to be more careful now.
