Doughboy Silicia I Plus filter leaking

The filter is leaking around the middle o-ring, right where the index tab and socket are supposed to connect. I ended up removing all the bolts and noticed the index tabs dont actually fit into the sockets, the index tabs are too large wide. It doesn't make sense. It seem as though I could just cut or file off the tabs so the top and bottom of the tank would then attach together flush and then I could reinstall the bolts. I want to say that the tabs and sockets are only there to help line the top and bottom up correctly.

Any ideas would be great!

Can you post a pic of it?
If it were mine I'd file the tabs to fit the sockets. Though you could just need a new gasket or o-ring.
