Burning Eyes

Pool was resurfaced 1 month ago. Mine and my kids eyes are getting irritated. The water appears to be balanced. I am wondering if the newness of the surface might be causing some irritation. Please help

Just to confirm, the cc is correctly reported at .2 and not 2, correct?

Was any algaecide or something else added to the pool during the refill?

.2 is correct. Nothing but Chlorine,Sodium Bicarbonate, acid, CYA, and salt has been added.

Contacted pool contractor and he stated they put nothing additional in the pool. Should I test for something?

My family must be sensitive to low CC levels 0.2. Shocked pool to remove CC and everything was fine. 10 days later CC returned to 0.2 again and burning eyes. Kids must be peeing in pool?

Is this high average summer temp (95) going to cause any problems or issues I need to be aware of?

You'll use more chlorine as the water warms up. Build yourself an aerator and you can keep your pool temp much cooler. There are several threads on here if you search.
