I have an aqua plus system with the orp sensors. However, I have given up on the sensors just to touchy. What I want to do is run the system on a straight percent. I want to put it at 20% and just keep an eye on it. However, I have not yet been able to get this to work. I have gone to the config area and turned the sensing system off. I then went to the setting menu and set the timer to 20%. The default display says chlorinator at 20%. However, when I go to diagnostics it says generator off percentage has been met. Why would it say this? I have the sensing system off. It does appear to be off as my chlorine level is slowly falling.

A 20% setting means that the cell will only be generating for 20% of the time ... not sure if this helps your understanding or not.
Can you just unplug the sensors to see if that changes anything?
