How much cya by pounds of powder should I be adding for a 22500 gal pool. I used the calculator and checked with a couple other sources and there is a big difference. One source says 40 pounds. Another says 20. Please help.

Did you have a problem entering the data into the calculator? If the information is entered correctly, it is correct.

I'm getting 15lbs. of CYA to go from 0 to 80 ppm for 22,500 gallons. I suggest adding half the amount and test in one week, then add the right amount to get you to 80 ppm if you are running a SWG. Easier to add more, difficult to remove excess CYA.
