just installed the pump yesterday.
not using a remote controller, just the onboard one.
motor doesn't start. the controller thinks it's running, it tells you the speed at which it should be running
and the clock even counts down to how long it will remain running.
It shows 0 watts, so it actually does know it's not running. Diagnostics have no errors.
However - it shows 0 for the serial number.
I bought it online and installed myself so I'm hoping someone has a solution other that returning it.

Hayward said probably a bad motor drive - send it back.
Online retailer said no problem, sending me RMA paperwork.
I paid for new one and will get refund when bad one is received back.
