Flex Seal for hole in liner??

Ok crazy question... Have you seen the Flex Seal commercial??? I have a hole in the deep in corner of the liner. actually 3 holes... the liner is shot but I need it to last the summer. I put a vinyl patch but I was thinking about this commercial and thought... maybe... anybody try it? any thoughts??

That's a pretty gimmicky commercial. I'm not sure It'd work on a vinyl liner. By the way, the screen door gimmick doesn't impress me. Any good paint will seal up a piece of screen so it won't leak.

I would stick with the vinyl patch, if done right they can last for a number of years. I had one where a teen age girl dove into the pool and hit the bottom teeth first and tore a finger size chunk out of the liner, thankfully she had braces which likley kept her from knocking any teeth out. Anyway that patch lasted for 5 years or more until the rest of the liner needed replacement.
