Liquidator Insulation

My liquidator will be in full sun and I have heard people talk about insulation,etc. Can someone post exactly what I need so I can pick this up? I would greatly appreciate it.

or is it easier just to paint it?

Painting will be the way to go. The contents of the Liquidator will be the same temperature as the pool as long as the pump is running.
