Looking for sand filter

Hello all, I am new to the forum and looking for help. I have an Intex 18' X 52" AGP that I have drained and am ready to upgrade the filter with a sand filter and new pump. I currently have the larger Intex filter with an inline chlorinator which I want to retain but want to eliminate the worthless cartridge filter. I also plan on adding a solar panel to help heat. My local dealer is trying to sell me a Waterway 16" filter wth a 1HP pump for $379, not sure what the GPM is nor do I know what I need. I have found this on CL and want to know if it is something that would work

I dont know if I have given enough information but welcome any help and knowledge that you may have.

I can't quite read the label. Can you tell us or take a pic of the pump label and that label again?

It looks to be about right but I am guessing.
