Solar Cover Reel - Geared or standard.

Hi All,

I am torn between what reel to get. After reading a bunch of posts I have decided on one of these two reels:
1) Solar Cover Reel 1
and
2)Solar Reel with gears

I am pretty sure the only difference is the gears, which makes it easier to roll up. I know "WestSidePool" has posted about his (He has #2 above, thanks so much for posting those photos and such, they helped me make my choice on this type of reel).

So my question is for those that have a reel, how hard is it to roll up(Will my wife be able to get the cover off by herself), is it worth the $60 bucks for #2 with the gears?

If WestSidePool is looking here, how smooth is yours in getting the cover off the pool?

My pool is 15 feet wide, 34 feet long and I have a solar reel with no gears. It's actually VERY easy to roll up. I can't imagine how easy it would be with a geared system.
