Just curious if its been common practice or even known practice for piping coming into pump pad areas from underground to/from skimmers, returns, dedicated lines to be flex pipe underground all the way to each connection on the pool or just stubbed out from underground and up to my pump station ? I plan on re-piping my pump/filter station and was just curious of what I'm in for once/if I need to dig down a bit ?

Some builders use flex pipe for the entire run. It isn't all that common, but it is done now and then.
Thanks Jason, I guess I'll find out eventually soon enough when I reconfigure everything....
The flex pipe is more expensive than standard sch40 pipe but it saves on labor as it is available in 100' rolls. Somebody once mentioned that it is more susceptible to bugs/animals chewing threw it also. I have purchased alot of fittings throught http://www.flexpvc.com for alot less than the home/hardware stores.
