air tubing length

I understand the answer to this depends on which air button and which air switch/combo box are being used, but on "average" what is the maximum length of a run you can do for 1/8" air tubing for a spa air switch? The only lengths I see online are 100 or less, or 2000, yes, 2000 feet. Thanks in advance.
