How red should the TA test be?

When testing TA with the TAYLOR K-2006 kit the green turns a pinkish red and one drop later it is a darker red. Which color is the correct mark?

It isn't a specific color that you are looking for. What you want to do go until you get something in the red family, then continue adding drops until the color stops changing, and finally don't count the drop that didn't change the color any further.
