After testing the ch at 7.5, the secondary testing turned faint pink and cleared with one drop. Should I top out the bleach to 16 again or am I ok with a little more time.

I think there is a typo. Do you mean FC? or TC?

Anyway, we need to see the FC and CC test results.

ETA: ....and how does your water look? crystal clear?

The water is crystal clear and beautiful. The FC is 7.5 after shocking to 16 yesterday morning. The CC is .5ppm and I am not sure about the ppm overnight lose. I will test tonight and in the morning.

All is well with my pool. I did not lose any FC last night, still at 7.6 ppm and the CC has dropped to .2 ppm.

I would like to state that after one season using troublefreepools.com, I have experienced the easiest opening in eight years. The only expenses I have had this year are replacing broken cleaning tools and lots of beach of course.
