Quick Question: Pressure gauge

Does the brand need to match. I found 2 gauges : One by Jucuzzi is 25.00 and a different brand for 5.00. Both say 1/4" back mounted. So seems like the cheaper would work. Would the different brand matter or affect the readings? Orginal was up to 60 PSI. Ive seen some ppl here that wanted to get like up to 20 instead. Does it matter???

Any brand will work, just make sure it is rated for water use, easiest way is look for WAG markings (Water/Air/Gas), ebay is a great source of quality gauges at a fraction of retail price. also.

I find 0-30 psi is ideal, but if your filter never goes above 20, that would be fine. The 5 dollar one should be fine...it is not uncommon to need a new one every couple of years. If you winterize, make sure you take it inside over the winter.
