I have a leak on the bottom of my Superpump. Does anyone know anything about this. Picutures to follow.
Did you change anything (hardware, settings, etc) before your pump started leaking? How old is the pump? Has the motor ever been replaced? If so, did you add new seals at the time?
This is a "new" pool to me, so I have very little information on what happened before me. I replaced the sand in the filter tank, but nothing to the pump. I did some re-plumbing last year that sealed all of the leaks in the plumbing itself. As far as I know, this leak was not there last year. It looks like something should go in the square that water is leaking from, but I'm just not sure what.

That looks like the seal leaking and dripping out that hole. It;s supposer ot be open like that. You'll have to take the pump apart to replace the shaft seal.
