Savi Melody Pool Lights-Difficulty Changing Modes

All,
Is it just me or do any other Savi Melody Pool Light owners have difficulty changing modes using the "on/off" switch method.
I am not a stupid person, but I cannot what they are trying to tell me on that instruction card.

Any step by step instruction help would be greatly appreciated.

The wording is a bit awkward but the process isn't too bad once you get the hang of it. It's all based on how long the light is turned off for.

If it's a quick off-on then it steps to the next pattern.
If you leave them off for a little bit longer and then turn it back on, it resets to the default pattern.
If you leave them off for a long time > 10 seconds. The when you turn it back on the pattern isn't changed from before.

I don't know the exact number of seconds because I lost the instruction card. :-(
