Pentair intellichlor SWG IC-20 repair?

Can Pentair intellichlor IC-20 SWG be rebuilt or repaired? I have one that lasted only 3 summers in Florida and started flashing cell life. I think I know the answer is that they cannot. I ended up purchasing a new one, was just wondering if it is just trash at this point. My pool is as much work as my boat..yippie..

It's the coatings on the blades that wear out and replacing that is more trouble than it's worth so they wind up bing unrepairable when that happens.

Three to five years is the typical lifetime for a SWG cell.
