Little help guys, I'm a new pool owner. I just broke the drain plug. IT's 1/4", I've ordered a new one and it' on the way. My question is, how the heck can I get the broken plug out of the bottom of the pool filter? Does that round cap the plug goes into twist off also?

It's a plastic plug, right? You can try using a cigarette lighter to heat up the blade of a flat screwdriver, then push it into the plastic when it's nice and hot. It should melt a little slot for itself and you can screw out the plug.
