Bought a house last month with an in ground pool. I'm somewhat familiar with operating a pump and chemistry. However, something is happening that I've never encountered. Opened the pool today for first time. It has 2 return ports and a skimmer intake. Everything turned on and seems to be working fine. However, I noticed that one of the return ports is actually sucking in water. Is this by design? I have never seen this before.
