Currently I have my pump outflow connected to my sand filter intake using pvc 1 1/2" pipe and connetors. I am thinking about replacing this section with quick disconnect unions with barbed ends on pump and filter, a high pressure hose and clamps. This would make it easier to take apart for winter storage and easier to line up and put together in the spring. Seems like new syetems are coming this way. Should I be concerned about the pressure through the hose or fittiings/clamps ...? Any issues going this way.?

Thanks

I'd stick with the hard pipe but add unions to it to make it easier to take apart.

If you're set on the hose, it'll work fine but be cautioned that you need to check it pretty regularly as it tends to leak from the pressure cycles and heat. You'll need to retighten the clamps every so often.
