Putting the Pentair filter back after cleaning cartridges

I opened my Pentair CCP320 filter today to clean the cartridges but failed to remember how the compression spring was installed above the air bleed tube assembly. The owner's manual does not have clear pictures.
I am attaching two pictures as possible ways and will appreciate advice to do it right. Thank you.

The P_1 pic is the correct way. If you take a look at this pic you'll see how it goes.
