I have a Aqua Lumin 1 and it wont stay on. It is a 120 volt and its not tripping the GFI. The bulb contacts look good but there looks like a little white tube that might be a vent looks a little brown maybe burnt near a silconed mass of wires. Can I open up that silicone and check those wires or would that just be a mess?

My guess would be that it is overheating. Are you sure it has the right bulb? I don't think you have a vent since the unit is water cooled.
