I have a Hayward Aqua Rite salt chlorinator. Does the flow switch absolutely need to be installed after all equipment. For ease of installation I would like to install it before my heater. Thanks in advance.

It is safer to mount the switch closer to the SWG. If the heater had a leak the SWG could run without any water flow, which would bad.
