Well, I got tired of waiting for hubby to get started taking down the old ultra frame...so I helped him out...I put on my rubber boots and took a butcher knife and enjoyed myself when I sliced a giant sliced down the side of it to drain it! hahaha Heres the old pool that came down as of yesterday....and I totally forgot we had a thick sand base under it. Can we just level the sand base or do we have to dig down to the hard black dirt?

As long as the sand is still in good shape, clean sand without any rocks or other debris in it, you can just level it out and then put the new pool in.
