Intex SWG CS8110 to 1.5" Sch 40 Plumbing

Hi all,

I'm new here and tried to search for the answer in another post but can't find it. Sorry if I am repeating something covered elsewhere.

I have a pool that we have had for many years that we decided to go to SWG this year vs chlorine. We have a Hayward Sand Filter and pump. Everything is currently plumbed using standard Schedule 40 1 1/2" pipe. How do I connect standard pipe to the threaded ends of the Model CS8110? The threads on the unit don't appear to be standard threads for 2" or 1 1/2" pipe. I have noticed others have plumbed this to 1 1/2" so I am hoping there is an easy answer.

If there are specific parts available, I would very much appreciate learning what they are and how to acquire them.

I Think this will work, go to page 3 and look for fitting E996h sold at the big box stores.
