Opening time?

Hi Everyone!

When is the time to open the pool? Mine is under covers which blocks out all sunlight but i am not sure if the temperature has risen above 60F.

Should i pull off the cover and start shocking/ balancing the pool if the temperature is above 60F or can i wait till I want to open it?

Our pool is open right now. I liveinoklahoma and its around 70's already.
