How long does it take to raise PH

I have been working on getting my TA and PH down. I started at 300 TA and 8.0 ph. After adding 8 gallons of acid over the past week, I'm currently at 180 TA and 6.8 ph. I started the water aeration treatment today to help bring the ph back up so I can add more acid. How long does it generally take to raise the ph a full point?

It varies quite a bit, anywhere from hours to weeks, depending on your TA level, water temperature, and the amount of aeration you can produce. Higher TA levels raise the PH more quickly, so it will slow down as you proceed.
