Shelf for drinks

I'm looking for ideas...I'd like to make some sort of shelf for the outside of the pool that hangs down below the top rail to set drinks etc on...has anyone created anything like this or seen anything that might give me some ideas?

I've seen one online that was made for an Intex metal frame pool. Do not know why you couldn't make one out of PCV pipe and a plastic or Tupperware lid.

I've considered doing something like this. Mine would have to be like a stand that hangs over since I have the blow up ring. I have also considered doing something like you see in tubs that would go over the center of the pool. This would be for when there is no kids in the pool. Let us know if you make one.

I think I am going to try to make one out of pvc and a tupperware lid that hangs over the side...I'll keep you posted. thanks for the help.

Aqualeader sells a shelf for their pool line, it may fit other model rails.

I bought everything at Lowes for around $20. The container is a bit flimsy, so I'll try to find a better one for the next build. I will also try a different paint. Everything was glued with PVC cement.
