My pumping system for acid injection uses what appears to be polyethylene tubing from the pump to the injection port. After about a year of use the tubing seems to be a little brittle and is cracking where it attaches to the pump. Is the polyethylene tubing the best option or would I be better off using something else that is more UV resistant... Santoprene? I assume the tubing in the pump itself is santoprene, is there any reason not to use it for the supply tubing as well?

Just look for UV stabilized tubing. It's most likely going to be black in color. USPlastics sells it. I don't know if the big box stores will have it.
