how to figure out which Swimquip S​ta-Rite skimmer I have?

I'm trying to determine what skimmer type I have on the pool that came with my house. Removing the basket, I see 8560-87, which suggests to me it is part 8560-8, which fits on a Swimquip S​ta-Rite Pool Skimmer.

I don't know which exact model I have. How would I determine this?

I would like to find a vacuum plate to fit this skimmer, or some other way of measuring suction at the skimmer-side port.

I think that you have a Sta-Rite U-3 Skimmer. Does the basket look like the one below?

What is the diameter of your skimmer basket? I'm thinking that it is about 8.375" in diameter.

Thanks James. I replaced several of the baskets when I moved in, which looked pretty much exactly like the ones in your picture. Attached are a few more pix with measurements. Is this unambiguously the U-3?

I need to try to take a suction measurement at the skimmer, which will demand a plate with a threaded 1/4" fitting for my vacuum guage, or a plate with an integrated gauge. Or perhaps I could figure out some way to fit such a gauge to the end of a standard pool hose. Anyone know if there are such plates available for my skimmer or for a standard hose? I've googled a bunch and haven't found anything.

I am pretty sure that it is the U-3 skimmer. What are you trying to figure out with regard to the suction? There are several options depending on what you are trying to do.
