If you keep this pool cover on all the time except when you use the pool would the pool then be considered an indoor pool?

hrddrv, yes and no. As little as one hour a week of direct sunlight can mitigate the largest challenges of maintaining an indoor pool. But it takes more than a hour a day of sunlight to be a true outdoor pool.

But the cover would allow light to pass through making it a pool in a green house. I think the wood panel pool with the insulation around it would make the heat loss very minimal. looks to me that the wood pool is a kit. Anyone know if they they have wood pool kits in the states?

Maybe for a lap pool strictly for exercise. But for my pool? Nuh uh. Kills the freedom feeling.
