Ive got lots of photos y'all may be interested for my "my new build" posting in new construction, but they don't take. The uploader keeps telling me they are too big or not compatible. They are simple pictures from a simple point and shoot. I will look at photobucket, but sometimes it is nice to see folk's picture right in a post.

Many posters use photobucket or one of the other free photo hosting sites and then link to it in their post.
EDIT: just noticed original post date was MARCH 22nd (not MAY) 
I think the easiest way is using flickr.
1) upload image to photo stream on flickr.com
2) Click the image to view it, then click 'view all sizes' in the top right
3) select the size image you want to embed in the post
4) right-click the image and choose 'copy image location'
NOW ON TFP...
5) choose 'full editor' to create your post
6) click the 'Img' button from the top bar
7) paste your flicker image location in between the Img tags
DONE!
