I have a 15K in ground pool in Naples FL. Recently I have had some alge and when I add cl it turnes the water bright green. I have got rid of the alge annd balanced the pol Phosphates still 2500. Nut thepool still turnes green when I add CL. It also seems toto be eating tthe CL very quickly. Solar Heat

Clear transparent green water is generally caused by metals in the water, though there is a small chance it is just color left over from the algae.
The first thing to do is to finish shocking the pool properly, see the article in Pool School, until you can maintain an appropriate FC level. Then, if the green is still there, try adding a startup dose of a metal sequestrant, which will most likely clear the green right up.
