How big / powerful? Pump/filter combo

We are in midst of big renovation for 30,000 gallon inground pool. Contractors will replace all equipment and I just wanted to run specs by you all to make sure they aren't cutting costs.

For the pool, they have a 1.0 HP Jandy PHPF (+5 deck jets)
Filter is being changed from a sand to Jandy CV 340.

Is this enough HP and area for the pool + jets? Also, we have bedrooms above the filter and I want to be sure it's as quiet as possible. Would you recommend a stealth? DO we need water feature pump separate?

Since you have noise concerns I'd look at a variable speed pump. Those are going to run the quietest. Other than that, the items you have listed look ok.
