Found my Auto Fill leaking externally from where the PVC connected to the housing. After turning it on for about an hour the landscaping around the pool deck was muddy and saturated with water, although the fill valve had shut off. I dug a hole and the leak is clearly comming from the conneection, so I have shut off the water flow to the auto fill.
My problem is very little room to reach or work from the hole I have dug.
Is there a way to remove the canister from the pool decking??

Thank You for any help in advance.

These is no way to remove the canister from the deck without breaking it.

Plug the connection in the pool and use a shop vac to remove the water from the canister and hopefully, some from the line to the pool. Then remove the float valve and suck out some more water. Let the area drain/dry out some. Then dig enough so the water connection has some play and redo the connection. I am assuming the forgot to glue the connection that is leaking.
