Using Distilled Water to Mix Diamond Brite?

Distilled water should be close to pH neutral (7.0). Is may be slightly acidic due to the absorption of carbon dioxide, but not enough to matter. Distilled water can be used to mix concrete or cement. It can be beneficial when other sources of water have impurities, such as iron, that could adversely affect the quality or the aesthetics of the cement.

Distilled water is actually used when making reference samples of concrete to compare with samples made using water of questionable quality.
