Our pool's water is filtered from the main drain only. The skimmer water is not filtered and feeds the in floor cleaning system. I use skimmer socks to help "filter" the water that ends up back in the pool via the nozzles.
Would it be practical to install a filter in the skimmer's plumbing circuit? I think that as much "dirty" water enters the skimmer as does the main drain. So adding a filter should clean the water faster as both the skimmer and maindrain pumps are on at the same time. Any opinions or filter suggestions would be appreciated.
