Freeze Protecton and IC40?

We are expecting some cold weather this week, so I suspect my pump will be running most of the time.

I have a Pentair Easytouch & IC40. Do I need to adjust my Cl %, or is the system smart enough to not run the IC40 during freeze protection?

Note: While in “Freeze Protection” mode, IntelliChlor will not operate or produce chlorine during the time that the filter pump is operating.

If the water temperature is below 60° F, then it's probably best to keep the chlorinator turned off and just add liquid chlorine as needed.

Thanks, I feel stupid. I must have looked everywhere but there for the answer.

Actually, I just feel a little more stupid than I normally do.

I will go ahead and shut it off till spring. Thanks!
