Looking for a low cost gas heater for a 5,000 gallon pool

Hi everyone,

I have a 5,000 gallon pool and was wondering if there are any low cost gas heaters out there that could at least heat the pool to 86F?

Hi Scott I see a few. some 50K and a 130K which would be a good one for a small 5,000 gal pool. I like titanium core heaters.

Titanium is generally only found on heat pumps.

You want polymer headers and the cupro-nickel heat exchanger. I personally prefer electronic ignition as pilots have issues over time.

Bigger is faster.

Not to thread-jack, but out of curiosity, do you know why polymer headers are desirable?
