Well here goes nothing. Hubby and I have never had a pool before but decided, for health reasons, to put one in. We've been lurking on this site for a while now and have gotten some great info from y'all. We'll try to post photos as we go along. On-lawn layout happens this afternoon and the build begins Monday. Wish us luck!

That's how this builder operates. I believe his motto is "we dig Monday, you swim Sunday".

Yes, we like his work very much. He and his crew of 4 have been working together for many years and they are like a well oiled machine. No one is ever standing around wondering what to do next. They are here already this morning to do the acid wash and a few other things. We should have water going in by the end of the day if all goes well. Not bad for 2 calendar weeks and only 6 build days!

I think the biggest thing that impressed me was the dig, rebar and plumbing in 1 day. Most Impressive.

We're going to make some repairs to the screened porch and patio before having the Kool Deck laid so this will be the last update until the repairs are completed.

holy georgia peach thats awesome. Looks like something you'd find at Ted Turner's house. Love the pines in the background. Having worked at CNN during the summer you'll find some good swimmin' time in August when you can cut the humidity with a knife. Sweet build!
