Pentair Variable Speed Pump

My 1hp 1 speed pump died. It was controlled by a timer that you get from Lowe's or Home Depot.

I was looking for another pump.

Anyone have any experience with this pump?

It's a good pump. Whether or not it would be the best choice depends on your specific circumstances and pool specifications. In most cases, a two-speed pump is the better choice.

If you need many different speeds, and your electrical rates are high, then a variable speed pump might be a good choice.
