We were rather stymied by a ton of rain in late August, early September which delayed digging by about four weeks. Our water table is a whopping 2.5-3 feet from the surface. The house has been here since the 1920's and apparently someone decided to use the yard as their own personal dump at some point. Found medicine bottles, rusted pipe pliers and assorted junk during the dig.

We were able to get the water temp. up to over 90 degrees in a couple of days using a solar blanket. Since then, the night temp. has dropped and it's more like 86 degrees. It's rained this weekend, so I'm taking time to post.
