New Aquarite board shows 0 salt, low salt/check cell illumin

Installed a brand new aquarite pcb but unit still does not generate. Registers 0 for salt, nothing for instant salinity. When turned on will have flow light blinking, then goes to power light green and generating green for a few seconds. Then it gets a steady red light on LOW SALT and a steady yellow light on CHECK CELL. Cell has been checked and is good at local pool store and it is clean. Have reset the unit a million times. Pool store said it could take 24 hours for it to start reading and working. But a week later and still not working.

Salt level tested at 3600 ppm. Alkalinity is a little high at 170ppm, ph is good at 7.4

I am beginning to wonder if we got a new bad board.

Re: New Aquarite board shows 0 salt, low salt/check cell ill

When the unit sees the salinity is low it will automatically give you a check cell light. The problem you describe is probably either a bad fuse on the circuit
board or a bad circuit board. It is very unusual for a brand new circuit board to be bad out of the box, but not impossible. First step check the fuse. This should be on the main circuit board at the bottom it will have a yellow top. If it is blown replace it and it should solve your problem. If not take the circuit board back to whomever you purchased it from for a warranty replacement. Good luck!
